Derek Preston
Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer
Derek is a senior executive with a 15 year track record of success in building service infrastructure and information technology companies. A career focus in the application of technology to complex information markets led him to engage the transitional care marketplace more than 4 years ago with the goal of creating the single best resource for caregivers in the U.S. Prior to co-founding SNAPforSeniors, Derek served in a senior management capacity in three companies over an eleven year timeframe, developing the strategy and foundation architecture for major information systems that are in use today in the real estate and web optimization fields. In addition to his daily role at SNAPforSeniors Derek actively serves on the advisory board of the National Association of Realtors SRES group and on the executive board of Gretchen’s House Childcare Centers, Inc., one of the largest privately held childcare facility operators in the U.S.

Eve M. Stern
Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer
Eve has a strong 30 year background in high-visibility leadership roles in the healthcare market. As a registered nurse and a technology executive, she brings a unique blend of business skills and compassion for the plight of caregivers to her role at SNAPforSeniors. As a Co-founder of the company, Eve has been the leading voice to industry associations and professional groups, giving generously of her time to advise advocacy organizations and professional associations on ways to improve outcomes for caregivers, starting with quality, reliable information while leveraging the web as a way to deliver actionable information for shared decision making. She has personally experienced the challenges of both local and remote caregiving as an adult child for dependent parents and brings this important perspective to her work. She is a regularly published industry writer and speaker and sits on the boards of the National Family Caregivers Association, the Aging Network of Bellevue, Washington and is the committee leader of the Medicare Caregiver Outcomes Group for Provider Education and Communication.

Ralph Brenner
Chief Technology Officer
Ralph has a distinguished background in successful software development and technical project management. Before joining SNAPforSeniors, Ralph worked as Sr. Microsoft .Net Architect with the prestigious Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles, CA. He also spent 4 years as Technical Advisor to Iventa Corporation where he designed and developed numerous high profile, high traffic, consumer serving e-commerce properties. Ralph was a technology manager with ContentGuard, a digital rights management joint venture between Microsoft and Xerox Corporation. As a result of his technical innovation at ContentGuard, Ralph was awarded both international and U.S. patents in electronic publishing. Having worked on several projects at Microsoft, Ralph also managed Corbis Corporation's digital image search product. Ralph went on to design and develop the Experience Music Project's digital asset management system. Ralph has been developing Microsoft Windows software since version 1.0 and has been a guest speaker and panel member at numerous Microsoft development conferences. He is currently a member of Microsoft's IT Advisory Council.

Lisa Biermann
Director of Operations
Lisa has 15 years of management experience encompassing responsibility for operations, customer service, and sales. A common thread among all of the companies she has worked for is the transformational operational role she has played in multiple early stage companies. Prior to joining SNAPforSeniors, Lisa has held entrepreneurial management positions within a variety of industries. At computer hardware wholesaler MicroSupply, she ramped annual sales growth at a new branch office to $3.6M with margins consistently exceeding 16%. As General Manager at Regus, Lisa led the turnaround of an unprofitable site and in 2003 was honored by the company as Manager of the Year. She has a track record of developing teams that achieve high client satisfaction ratings and retention as well as bringing quality improvement performance metrics used to build scalable operations within budget. Lisa is a member of the Technology Committee and the Board of Advisors for Hamilton Friends, a non-profit organization aimed at developing young leaders who have a passion for public service and academic excellence. She shares a busy home with her husband and 3 boys, and enjoys running, skiing, and experimenting in the kitchen in between soccer practices and school events.

Kevin Frisone
Director of Sales
Kevin has over 23 years of sales, executive sales and sales management experience. His experience includes new business development, building national sales teams, new product launches, developing sales and marketing plans and market expansion. Kevin began his career in the sporting goods industry and then branched into consumer products and services in other sectors such as construction, media, media content and services, audio visual equipment, and telecom. He has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to break record sales in each company he worked by developing a keen understanding of the customer’s need and proposing tailored solutions that build long term happy customers. Prior to SNAP, he was personally responsible for acquiring prestigious accounts such Harrah’s Entertainment, Station Casinos, Trump Properties, NFL Super Bowl 41 & 42, Buffalo Wild Wings, AMF, FBR Open 2004 - 2006, Southern California Bowling Proprietors Association, Restaurants of America, Jazzercise, Consolidated Restaurant Group, Three Men Out Restaurant Group, North West Casinos (Skagit Valley, Tulalip, Muckleshoot and Quinault) and others. Kevin joined SNAP to apply his past sales expertise in an organization with a greater social mission that is making a difference in the lives of others. When Kevin isn’t at work, he and his wife are involved with their three children’s activities and Kevin volunteers as assistant coach for baseball.
